Chris Hummel began working for a local custom home builder at the young age of 14. He started out doing grunt work, but he was quickly drawn into the many aspects of construction such as carpentry, concrete work, laying tile, electric and even drywall. Chris knew early on this was what he wanted to do as a career.

In 1994, Chris ventured on his own and founded Hummel Construction, LLC. His philosophy was simple: to deliver excellent service, quality, and value that not only meets but exceed our clients’ expectations.

Chris believes that learning from the ground up was important. His early experiences with working in the many areas of the building process taught him about the service and quality needed to build the finest custom homes.
